The swifts act like a gang of screaming bikers as they tear through the air high and low in threes, fours, fives seemingly sure they won\u2019t fly into a house or a car or a tree and at the same time there\u2019s the sound of geese honking away on a nearby field and I say to myself: \u201cWell, I still prefer Miles and Trane\u201d<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">slowly succumbing to it<br \/>\nthe light<br \/>\nof<br \/>\njust<br \/>\nbeing<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">:<\/p>\n<p><b>Miles og Trane og fuglene<\/b><\/p>\n<p>P\u00e5 afsatsen hvor den udend\u00f8rs trappe, der leder op til min lejlighed ender, sidder jeg med en cigar, en tredobbelt espresso og Miles og Trane p\u00e5 stereoanl\u00e6gget i stuen lige h\u00f8jt nok til at n\u00e5 mig og ser svaler og mursejlere jage stadigt lavere som aftenen n\u00e6rmer sig, r\u00f8dk\u00e6lke der kommer og g\u00e5r fra og til buskadset, duer der lander og pikker det op, duer nu pikker op, krager der synes komplet ligeglade og en veln\u00e6ret r\u00f8d kat, der pr\u00f8ver at g\u00f8re sig usynlig bag nogle m\u00e6lkeb\u00f8tter.
